Days 1
Transfer to Mikumi National Park and Afternoon Game Drive
Your safari begins with an early morning departure from Dar es Salaam followed by a scenic drive toward Mikumi National Park. The journey takes approximately 5–6 hours through the beautiful countryside and the Uluguru Mountains area.
Upon arrival at the park gate, registration formalities will be completed before beginning your first exciting game drive. Mikumi’s open plains make it easy to spot wildlife such as elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffalo, and antelopes.
Lunch will be served at a picnic site inside the park followed by an afternoon game drive exploring different areas including waterholes where animals gather.
In the evening, head to your lodge or tented camp for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2
Morning Game Drive and Return
Start the day with an early morning game drive when wildlife is most active. During this time, you may spot predators such as lions or animals moving across the plains in the cool morning hours.
After the safari, return to the lodge for breakfast before starting the drive back to Dar es Salaam. Arrival is expected in the afternoon marking the end of your Mikumi safari.
