Days 1
Transfer to Kitulo National Park and Flower Exploration
Your journey begins in the morning with departure from Mbeya town for Kitulo National Park. The drive takes approximately 2–3 hours through scenic highland landscapes, tea plantations, and small local villages.
Upon arrival at the park gate, registration formalities will be completed before entering the park. You will then begin a guided nature walk across the beautiful montane grasslands where thousands of wildflowers bloom during the season.
Your guide will introduce you to the unique plants found in Kitulo including orchids, proteas, and other rare alpine species. The park is also a great place for bird watching, with several highland bird species found in this ecosystem.
Lunch will be enjoyed at a scenic picnic site inside the park while taking in the peaceful mountain surroundings.
In the afternoon, continue exploring different areas of the park and enjoy photography opportunities before heading to your lodge or guesthouse for dinner and overnight stay.

Morning Nature Walk and Return
After breakfast, enjoy a final morning nature walk through the beautiful landscapes of Kitulo National Park. This is a great time to enjoy the fresh mountain air, observe more wildflowers, and spot birds in their natural habitat.
Your guide may take you to different sections of the park where seasonal flowers create colorful natural scenery across the grassland plains.
After the walk, return to the lodge for check-out before beginning the drive back to Mbeya town. You will arrive in the afternoon marking the end of your Kitulo Flower Safari.
