Travel to Mikumi National Park
Depart early from Dar es Salaam and drive toward Mikumi National Park. After arrival and park entry, begin your first game drive exploring the open plains.
Lunch will be served inside the park followed by an afternoon wildlife safari before heading to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

a unique and authentic safari camp in natural settings at the buffer zone of Mikumi National Park. We are offering comfortable accommodation and a relaxed atmosphere.
Vuma Hills Tented Camp: Vuma Hills Tented Camp sees elegance seamlessly blend with the wilderness of Tanzania’s Mikumi National Park. Perched above the lush forest canopy, this small camp offers breathtaking views of the wildlife-spotted grasslands below.
Stanley’s Kopje Camp: enjoys the advantage of being the only elevated land in an otherwise flat open plain. A nearby waterhole encourages game within sight of the Camp and the whole Mwanamboga area is generaly perceived to be the better game viewing area in the park.

Full Day Game Drive in Mikumi
After breakfast, enjoy a full-day safari exploring different habitats within the park including grasslands, woodlands, and waterholes.
You may encounter elephants crossing the plains, giraffes feeding on acacia trees, and hippos resting in water pools. Lions are also commonly seen in the park.
Lunch will be served at a picnic site followed by continued wildlife viewing until evening.

Morning Game Drive and Departure
Begin the day with a sunrise game drive before returning to the lodge for breakfast. After check-out, start the journey back to Dar es Salaam arriving in the afternoon.
